I've just been playing with a new photo site ~ Smilebox ~ which I found on Gina's site last night. It's easy to use, well it must be if I can use it and there's a free version which I used for these photos I took last year in Rye. I love the gentle English countryside in summer. Rye is an ancient town, even it's church is over 900yrs old, it was like stepping back in time wandering around it's cobbled streets.
I'll leave you to view the photos.

Very pretty location. Wish it was a bit closer to me, and that there was less of a "pond" between us.

Afternoon Jeannette (from Sussex) Oh what a treat to take a walk through you countryside and scenery.
I had sent this site to the other Jeannette as I knew she could figure out how to use it.
Although I have never been to your country I feel after my walk this afternoon I had a glimpse into what it is like.
Blessings,

Fabulous photos. They're postcard perfect.
Hi, Jeannette! I know it's been awhile since you have posted something here but I decided to checkout your smilebox slideshow and I loved the English countryside too! Castles and boats, hillsides and stained glass, churches and picturesque alleys...great job! Maria
Oh Jeannette, what a wonderful entry and I LOVE sending Smileboxes but have NO idea how to transfer to my journal.
I feel like I have taken a stroll down your countryside.
Many thanks for this.
Blessings,
ALBERTA Lori
Loved the pictures ~ have missed reading your blog ~ so glad to catch up with you again ~ Ally
Smilebox was loading so slowly for me I gave up. I think it's my computer, not Smilebox, I keep meaning to upgrade!
